The Finance Officer will be assisting Client Finance, JLL Account Director in GRC and JLL Reginal Finance Officer for delivery of a comprehensive range of financial services and support to the account/client. He/she is also responsible to manage the day-to-day financial and accounting operations with particular focus on the client’s reporting requirements at both local and regional level. The Finance Officer must also monitor and ensure that efficient use of the accounting resources contribute towards Jones Lang LaSalle’s revenue and profit objectives
Duties and responsibilities Client/Stakeholder Management
- Liaison with the Client’s primary Financial Managers/Operational Managers.
- Groom the team in achieving maximum client satisfaction level
- Oversee and manage JLL month-end closing
- Prepare the report for monthly JLL financial review
- Oversee and manage JLL budget/forecast
- Support all JLL financial projects
- Supervise client monthly closing and reporting
- Support for client requested report and information
- Ensure accurate and timely financial information is provided to all members of management team
- Oversee and support the activities of the team across the region with respect to Information, Report Production and Financial Administration
- Ensure data integrity of the systems across the region and audit data from time to time
- Ensure that appropriate process and system controls are in place and maintained to guarantee the integrity of all transactions
- Ensure that all financial accounting and reporting is audit worthy and in keeping with recognized quality management processes
- Ensure all finance staff are well trained on financial systems and effectively able to extract data from the system
Minimum 3 years of Accounting experience; Minimum 5 years finance related working experience.
- Degree qualifications in Accountancy or similar field will be an advantage
- Experience in a variety of accounting software
- Has an eye for detail to ensure the best delivery of services
- Analytical, proven ability to solve problems using an objective approach
- Excellent planning & organizational skills to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines
