Location: Ilupeju, Lagos.
DELIGHTFUL TOYSHOPS, a retailer and supplier of toys and structured play items for kids located in Lekki and Ilupeju, Lagos is seeking a motivated and empathetic individual who excels in delivering exceptional customer service.
He/she will be responsible for attending to walk-in customers, managing inventory, fulfilling orders, handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support through various channels.
The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to multitask effectively.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
*Attending to walk-in customers, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
*Responding to customers’ inquiries promptly and professionally.
*Resolving customer complaints and issues in a timely manner.
*Providing accurate and relevant information to customers.
*Assisting customers with product or service-related questions.
*Documenting customer interactions and maintaining records.
*Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer concerns.
*Upselling or cross-selling products and services when appropriate.
*Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
*Ensuring customers receive their orders promptly.
*Manage inventory and stock-taking.
*Wrapping items for customers (gift wrapping skill/experience is an advantage).
The job role is full-time/onsite (Monday - Sunday, 2 days off, Work hours: 9 AM - 7 PM).
The ideal candidate must be living in or around Ilupeju.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
*Minimum of High National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
*Ability to handle difficult customers and challenging situations.
*Proficiency in using customer service software and tools.
*Basic computer skills and familiarity with office software.
*Basic social media management skills
*Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
*Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
*Previous experience in a customer service/sales/online marketing role.
*Knowledge of the products or services offered by the Company (kiddies’ toys).
*Familiarity with CRM systems and online marketplace (example: Jumia).
*Multilingual proficiency.
