Position Description
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for doing the hotel’s laundry. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to push heavy loads, lift, and pull a moderate weight. The availability to work a variety of shifts with days off that vary from week to week, weekends/holidays, with flexible times. Experience and a thorough understanding of Housekeeping operations is considered an asset. Bilingualism or multilingualism considered an asset. Previous hotel experience preferred but not required.
Position Requirements
· Sorting, washing/drying, folding hotel laundry
· Stocking shelfs
· Treating stains
· Doing inventory
· Keep laundry area tidy and clean
· Offer guest assistance when needed
· Reporting any maintenance, security/safety issues to appropriate staff.
