JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare designated cashiering area for service utilizing opening checklist and as instructed through briefings and SOPs.
- Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change.
- Report issues with cashiering equipment.
- Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts.
- Provide a link between kitchen/bar and service areas, maintaining an open-line of communication with F&B Production colleagues.
- Maintain good knowledge of menu to answer questions the customers may have.
- Knowledgeable of all in-house services as well as local information and be able to assist customers when questioned.
- Has a working knowledge of the Restaurant room layout, table numbers, stations and colleagues working during each shift.
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of all bar menu items, Restaurant Service procedures and Hygiene Standards.
- All other responsibilities to be elaborated upon during the interview.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2 years experience within high-volume restaurants and lounges in Dubai
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
- Good math skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent service
